D & I Electronics, Inc. is a premier alarm monitoring and installation company.  We have been in business for over 50 years in the Plainfield/Joliet area. Company founder and President Martin Ivec holds a Bachelor of Science from Illinois Institute of Technology and was a project engineer with Motorola for six years before leaving to start D&I Electronics, Inc.  Martin "Marty" is an accomplished electrical engineer and possesses five industry related patents.

Due in part to overwhelming expertise and experience, we are one of the few local alarm companies asked to bid on complex alarm systems in the area, aside from large companies that install bank alarms only. We stand by our products and will service and monitor any alarm system. Our experienced staff is comprised of courteous and professional dispatchers, technicians and office staff.  Each and every employee of D & I Electronics, Inc. must pass a background check, is fingerprinted and issued a Permanent Employee Registration Card by the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. 

We have technicians on call 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, in case of emergencies and our central station employees work around the clock. Our goal is to educate our customers before making any sale. Home security is extremely important and our goal is to establish a lifelong relationship of protection and peace of mind for our customers.
