AES Long Range Radio operates on a FCC licensed frequency through a network of radio towers. Signals are encrypted and transferred at a much faster rate than through regular telephone lines. This application can work stand alone or in tandem with a telco connected alarm panel. AES provides backup in the even that phone lines are compromised.
